Young soldier at attention, holding a bayoneted rifle - probably a SMLE as the bayonet does not look
quite as long as the bayonets on the new Japanese Rifles that had been issued. Other soldiers are watching. The shadow
of the photographer can be seen on the ground beside the soldier. |
