2/6th Sherwood Foresters (Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire Regiment). Group of five soldiers, with Vernon
Lamb standing in the middle. Some of the others are shown in VLA9792 and VLA9793.
The Regimental diary entry of 12 April 1915 stated that 200 M.L.E. Rifles were returned to Weedon as the regiment had a full complement
of Japanese Rifles. All five men had been issued with the replacement rifles. |
