| Description/Historical Information: |
Two young women, presumably shop assistants, under
the sunshade of a fancy repository shop next to George Hotel. It was run by John James
Hodgkinson. He sold china, umbrellas, walking sticks, and postcards, amongst other items.
There is a postcard showing the exterior of his premises on Matlock Bath: North Parade in the 1920s.
