| Description/Historical Information: |
The identity of this soldier is not yet known. The Territorial Force Imperial Service Badge is pinned to his jacket
above his right breast pocket.
His rifle was one of the newly issued Japanese Type 30 that the Battalion had received during February and March 1915.
According to the regiment's war diary, these were handed in on 22 November 1915 and replaced by 303 (Lee-Enfield) Rifles. |
