BOUNDARY, formerly extra-parochial, is now a parish, 2¼ miles north-west from Ashby-de-la-Zouch railway station, and 7 from Burton-on-Trent, in the Southern division of the county, Repton and Gresley hundred, Swadlincote petty sessional division, Ashby-de-la-Zouch union and county court district, rural deanery of Repton, archdeaconry of Derby and diocese of Southwell. The inhabitants attend the churches at Blackfordby, Leicestershire, and Smisby. The population in 1881 was 102, principally labourers and their families ; rateable value now included with Smisby.
